Heartland Faithful Community Board
The board represents the local Emmaus community. It also ensures that the community is in compliance the covenant between the community and the Upper Room.
Each board member, along with their committee members, is responsible for serving the community during the walk weekend, gatherings, reunion groups and other activities.
The members of the board are chosen by nominations and a vote of the community. The term of each board member is three years. Ideally 1/3 of the board is new each year. “Chair” assignments rotate each year to strengthen board knowledge and experience.
The board meets the first Friday of each month at Faith Westwood United Methodist Church. Board meetings are open to community members.
